Cyber action against Vedanta plc - visit websites

Dear readers,
As you know Vedanta plc- the criminal mining company, which is going to have a catastrophic effect on the people and environment of Orissa, eastern India- is having their AGM in London on 28 July.

A cyber action against Vedanta plc has been launched from 2 websites
.

This is an extremely easy and effective way of sending thousands of emails to:-

Jairam Ramesh (India's Minister of Environment & Forestry), India's Prime Minister and 10 other senior politicians,

To some major banks with investments in Vedanta.

To UK's government body DfID (Department for International Development). You can go to
http://www.niyamgiri.net/ and send emails from there to Jairam Ramesh with cc's to the Indian Prime Minister and others.

If you send this, the next screen will ask you to contact the banks and DfID with a link to
http://forests.org/shared/alerts/send.aspx?id=india_mine

Or of course you can go direct to http://forests.org/shared/alerts/send.aspx?id=india_mine

Please network this as widely as you can. Please invite any friends who may be interested to visit http://www.niyamgiri.net/ where, with a few clicks of the mouse, they can send emails to Indian decision makers and the financiers bankrolling this destruction.
